so i currently have the coolermaster hyper 212 and was thinking about moving to a ocz vendetta 2, so i was wondering is it worth it?
the hyper 212 weights about 100g more, but doesn't have HDT. The hyper 212 is lapped and bolted through, the vendetta will be bolted too. What do you think is the difference in temps when both are using a s flex 1200rpm?

The Vendetta will be quite a bit better than the Hyper 212. It performs almost on par with the TRUE. Whether or not it's worth it depends on how much you want to improve your temps. If you're already within safe levels and you don't plan on overclocking more, you may as well stick with what you've got. On the other hand, if you are looking to improve on an overclock, the Vendetta 2 would be a worthwhile investment.

ok so i've tested the vendetta 2 and hyper 212, both using a bolt through, in full open air without any extraneous airflow to skew results, and it turns out that the vendetta 2 doesn't run any cooler than the hyper 212.
