Hyper 212 for $14.99 -- refurb from cooler master

I bit on one. $22.70 with shipping, but still a sweet price. I mean, how bad can a heatsink need refurbishing? Guess i will find out!

I really want one of these and almost bit when the Egg had refurbs for $15 but Im skeered of refurbs especially CPU coolers. My luck the thing would quit running when I was on the toilet or something and melt my CPU to the socket.

You run that risk with a new heatsink as well. Besides, cpu will shut down when it hits "ohshit" temps.

they claim their refurbs have been repaired or replaced back to factory new condition. Not that I'm expecting the world for $15....

seems like a great deal to me. they're pretty awesome coolers at their normal msrp and I can't see how buying a refurb of a heatsink would damage it's performance.

just received and installed. my idle temps went from 48c to 39c. not bad.

Plus that horrible whine from the stock intel fan is gone.

damn i missed it, any more deals on this cooler or something similar? ;)

I picked one up from Microcenter for $29. Was gonna pull the trigger on this one but figured it was worth $15 extra for NIB.

Great cooler too! Was kind of a pain to install (directions are worthles) cause you have to take out your mobo and the mounting clamp is kinda funky but its nothing major.

Works pretty well. Running Prime95 today for a few hours to test my OC and temps stayed solid at 34. Pretty good for 4 GHz, nearly 1.5 Vcore and $29. ;)

shipping kills the deal

$22.70 shipped? are you freaking nuts? this was an amazing deal for those who jumped on it.

Surprisingly enough my case had a cut-out on the back side of the mobo so I installed without moving anything in my case. was pretty awesome. I'm loving the 38C consistent temps.
