I have 2x 9800Pro 128mb cards to choose from, and I want to pick the better of the two.

Both are 128mb, 256bit 9800Pro cards, with stock cooling. They both have 350mhz rated memory chips, and they share a common PCB revision.

One has hynix ram chips, the other samsung - other than that they are identical in every way.

So which do I want? Hynix, or Samsung? (checked the part numbers on the BGAs of both cards, both are rated at 350mhz.)

they're both reference-red PCBs with no specific manufacturer markings on them, and both of them have the ATi reference heatsink/sticker.

So, they could both be either sapphire, gigacube, BBATi, or anyone else that uses the reference packaging right?
