On the website it says it has 1/2 fittings. I am planning on using 3/8 tubing so will this pump be ok for that?

Pump

No - the 1/2 fittings are OD - they're meant to fit with tubing that's 1/2" ID.

Match fitting OD with tubing ID.

Unless your 3/8" ID tubing can stretch a lot, I doubt the tubing will work.

Why do you want to use 3/8" tubing might I ask?

you can usually slip 3/8" tubing over 1/2" fittings, stick the tubing in some boiling water to loosen it first and then you can usually stretch it over the larger fittings.

Well I said screw it and changed the whole water cooling system to 1/2 ID tubing. Now that I got my case back from powder coating it is time to start the case work log on this case and the things I will be doing to it.

3/8 Tubing will easily stretch over 1/2 fittings. I have the Hydor also, just heat up the hose and slide it right on.
