Well, It doesn't work for me.

My 8800GS would EUE instantly, while the 4850 chugged away.

I gave up and put a 9800GTX+ in with the 8800GS. Using the Beta core that allows for mixed shader counts. And upped the VM from 2 cores to 4.

Before
VM: 1800 PPD
2x4850: 2700 PPD
Total: 7200 PPD

After
VM: 3800 PPD
9800: 6600 PPD
8800: 3900 PPD
Total: 14300 PPD

Add that to my Main rig and the SWMBO's rig, I'm right around 40000 PPD right now.

Too bad jish, you were so close. Unless you have any more noise to bring.
