HX620 - Devices per Cable?

I modded my power cables on the Corsair HX620 to put the sata power connectors closer together. (Like Here) But the stock cables only come with 3 connectors per cable, and I'd like to have 4 hard drives on one cable. What is the max number of hard drives that can be hooked up to a single HX620 cable without overloading it?
 
The question you are asking can only be answered by finding out what type of harddrives you run and what speeds and such.. My take on it would be that corsair put only 3 on there for a reason, if they could use for they would.
