Good morning, I'm building a custom SFF case, and some questions:

1) For the people out here with an Antec P182: How much clearance is there between the PSU's 120mm fan and the case? At full load, does it still run fine with this clearance? If so, does the fan speed up?

2) Is it safe for the PSU to intake air from the bottom of the case, right next to a really hot card with an Accelero S1? For the sake of being safe, let's assume ambient temp is somewhere around 45-50c.

Thanks in advance!

1) There's roughly 1" of clearance above and below the psu housing. While that is not my case I have the same setup and the psu fan never ramps up to become annoying even while gaming on my 8800GT w/ Zalman VF1000.

2) No problem.

I run my HX620W in a P182 with the intake down; there's much the same amount of space above and below the PSU mount, and it's meant to draw air through the bottom chamber, so I thought I might as well mount it the way it's conventionally meant to be fitted. No issues with doing so as far as I can see - the fan runs very slowly and the air that comes out is barely warm.

My intake is down too. Rocketfish with feet, perforated metal underneath the intake fan on the bottom of the case draws in cooler air I'd suppose.
