Hi,
I can't say that I have extremely long fingers, however, I do have a fairly large hand.
After a continuous search and a lot of testing in the last 15 years, I reached a very interesting conclusion, which unfortunately is disregarded due to the fact that mice that will have that kind of build do not look nice to the eye.
What exactly is the improvement? Is the back of the mouse being both higher and wider then the rest of the mouse. The only way someone will be able to comfortably palm a mouse and be able to actually rest his hand on it when not performing movements, is a mouse that offers palm support without forcing your fingers in a claw position.
To make it even more clear, imagine that you keep your hand in air just like you would keep a mouse in your hand. The correct grip of the mouse is using thumb and small finger to grab, move, lift the mouse. However, if you want to simulate a thinner mouse, you will have to move your thumb closer in air to the small finger, reaching a very uncomfortable position. Try to grab a pen with your small and thumb fingers, and try to only keep it in air for 1 minute. You will know what I mean.
So my question, is there any mouse in this world, that actually has this quality of being both wide and tall in the back side? Also, needs to allow lifting it up in air without dropping it.
