Huge Case??

I have finally decided to take a plunge into water cooling. I want to use a double or triple fan radiator or heater core and I need to find a new case that is big enough to accommodate this. I am looking to probably mod the case, so some really nice and expensive case is not a necessity. I am simply looking for a really big case, and a cheap one would be nice. Any suggestions or points in the right direction?

Big, old & cheap? Buy some old beige full tower on ebay. £10 will get you what you need.

the cooler master stacker is a good case to water cool w/o having to mod the case or the aerocool masstige if youre on a budget

The Coolermaster Stacker STC-T01 or 810 are your best bets. The new Thermaltake Chassis is promising as well, and unique, but a bit more expensive if I recall. The Mountain Mods case is nice also, but it's a bit expensive too.

Thanks so much for all of the help so far guys! I am moreso looking for a cheap case here, one that I can not really worry about too much if i mess up one of my mods, the 200 dollar cases are nice, but i would rather put the extra money into other components, the max i'd probably like to pay is about 100 or so, i've already got a nice power supply and everything, so i'm not too worried about if its a crappy case, i'll install fans or whatever, i'd just like it to be big. I'll check ebay a little more now though, i hadn't really thought of that so far.

You could ask your local PC recycler for an old school tower case, it would definately would be in need of serious modding. ;)
You would be surprised what they have and for dirt cheap and sometimes free.

I have a case almost exactly like that that I modded to fit a dual heatercore on the top. Theres plenty of space for watercooling, but youll probably have to do alot of work to make it fit. Be sure to do alot of cutting as these cases dont exactly have the best airflow.

I second the recommendation for the Aerocool Masstige. You can mount a 2 x 120 radiator in the front without modding, using the included fan bracket.

@drivingmonkey,

Actually I'm looking to sell my Masstige. PM me if you're interested.

Most likely the best watercooling case out today

It also comes in black, with side window or without.

I don't see how. It lacks internal space compared to others mentioned above.

Why do you think it lacks internal space?

Umm, because I looked at the picture of it?

It clearly lacks the internal volume of the Coolermaster Stacker STC-T01 or some of the other cases mentioned in this thread.

Gee you have some great eyes there.

The SILVERSTONE TJ07 is a hugh case, and has tons of room.

You get what you pay for. The edges in that thing are sharp enough to cut steak. (At least the ones I've worked with just like it were.)

yeah, I know what you mean. However, the edges in this one were not too bad.. but there i'm going to be dealing with some much sharper edges when I break out my dremmel .

I've been doing some looking around, and on Ebay there are a lot of InWin Q500's. It doesn't seem to be too terrible of a case, and I think I might look to get one on monday. It looks like it has a lot of room above the psu where I can install a radiator blowhole in the top of the case. Any thoughts, suggestions, or problems?

If you care about looks and quality, get the Lian Li G70.

The stacker might as well be a transformer toy. It's got no style.

A black Lian Li g70 + AC Ryan rad grillz is nice....
