which is better...

200 x 15 = 3000ghz
or
300 x 10 = 3000ghz

Does it even matter?

Depends on how much you wanna push the ram, but majority of the time the memory dividers can hit what youre looking for.

Based on some of the research done by some super geeks at the dfi-street forums, it doesn't really matter as long as you get there. I think the higher HTT and Lower Multi is a better combo as long as you have a stable system, just cause the entire system is fast as opposed to just the processor. the ram divider isn't that big a deal.

A multi that is only a few numbers off won't make a huge difference, but the lower you get the more it can take to keep it stable.
