Hey guys, im kinda getting the hang of OCing, i think ive got a fairly good overclock on my 3800+x2, and i was wondering if having my HTT bus speed running at 720mhz will hurt performance much?

cause, i cant run the multiplier at 4x because it causes my system to become unstable at 240mhz X 4 multi.

but ive got plenty of overhead, while running prime95 torture test, it was running @ 40C, but it says that im running at 37C idle right now, so idk if the ITE smartguardian is right or not.

any input is appreciated :)

running mine at 880 something, and ive noticed no noticeable difference.

220x4 = 2.4ghz out of my 2.2 stock

awesome, i ran some sisoft sandra bench's and it's higher than a stock 3800+x2, so im good :D

it wasnt stable at 2.6ghz, so i bumped it down to 2.5ghz, and it's running good :) just prime95ing it for the rest of the day to make sure it's stable.

thanks for the help :)
