I need some help trying to resolve an audio issue.
It only occurs when I am watching a netflix streaming video and I
A) pause for more then 30 seconds or
B) let the stream complete to the end of the video

When either happens, all audio on the system ( video and Windows sounds) becomes slightly distorted and a buzzing noise can be heard on all speakers. I have to restart the system to restore audio.

Windows 7 x64
ATI 5400 hd hdm
Running to Samsung receiver via hdmi. Lpcm

Have had no issues with local media so it must be a issue being caused from the netflix stream that causes the issue

I have resolved this issue.

From what I can determine, the default ATI HDMI Audio driver has a timeout of about 30 seconds.
When I pause the stream and go over this, then all sounds become corrupted.

The solution was to install the HDMI Audio driver from the realtek site, which fixed this issue instantly.
