Parents have hundreds of DVDs/CDs and I want to build them a media center PC with the sole purpose of having their DVD library and music CDs available to watch/listen. Music/Video server.
Requirements are it has to compatible with Logitech Harmony remote and the populating the library must be dummy proof and usable with the remote. In a perfect world,
I am thinking a build with Windows 7 + Media Center with additional software for ripping DVDs/CDs that preferably works within media center.
Is there any software (doesn't have to be freeware) that could make the DVD copying/ripping process dummy proof? e.g. My Movies 3 - never used it? is it as easy as putting the DVD in and pressing a button? any other alternatives you can suggest?
Does it download the information off internet akin to media center master?
Is there anything like this that runs in WMC that rip CDs and download info?
