I'm looking to make a HTPC as cheaply as possible. I already have a Pentium G620, an MSI microATX motherboard, 8 gb of ddr3, an Intel 80 gig SSD but unfortunately my motherboard doesn't have HDMI out. I recently came across a very cheap micro atx case with 300w power supply. The card will need to be low profile to fit the case and I would prefer bus powered. I would like to spend as little as possible on the card and was considering a Radeon HD 5450 vs Radeon HD 6450 vs. Geforce GT 610 vs. GeForce GT 210. The card will be used almost exclusively for video playback (I have a separate PC I game on). I would also like a silent card if possible as well. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks y'all!

HD5450 an GT210 only support hdmi 1.3a , therefore can't play 3D movies if that is important to you.

Something like this should be fine. I use a 6450 but I do light gaming on my htpc. Though for the $10 difference I'd probably go with the 6450.

You have to manually go into the settings under Audio Devices and set it to output 5.1, it won't do this automatically.

Thanks Jeep333 and Fooshnik, I will keep that stuff in mind, I think the 6450 is my leading candidate.
