So, I have a nice tiny build that seems to be giving me a bit of issue:

M350 mITX case
PicoPSU 90-XLP powersupply (only thing plugged in is p4 connector) w/ 12v, 8.5A brick
Giada MI-Z68 mITX motherboard
i3-2100
2x4GB PNY DDR3-1333
128gb Runcore T50 mSATA SSD
Intel 6300-N wireless
Samsung 305t+ hooked up via DVI
w7 pro

So, boot works to the splash screen, but when the computer tries to go to the logon screen (full resolution) I lose all video (monitor goes into rotating solid colors which is the sign for no hookup). Booting to safe-mode via F8 works fine, but every time I try to go to higher resolutions it's a no-go. I get the same issue with a Pico-120, or with a +5v drive installed, so I don't think it's the PSU that's giving me the issues.

Tried reinstalling the intel graphics drivers in safe mode to no avail. What else should I try? I would really, really like to not reformat/reinstall ;)

Without a reinstall, your options look pretty limited.

Have you tried connecting to your monitor using a VGA cable?
 
No VGA connector, just DVI-I and HDMI. I'll try the HDMI on the big tv this evening (wasn't even powering up, but I think that's because it was grounding out on the M350 case (which apparently doesn't have room for rear-mounted mpcie cards).

So, it appears that one of the 3 screws holding down the Lotes socket retention piece on the backplate is about 1mm longer than the others and that is what is touching the case (M350)... could that grounding out really prevent booting? weird!

resolved no-boot in M350 issue by adding 00-sized rubber washers between the mobo and standoffs increasing the area behind the mobo a little bit (had to ditch the IO plate so that things would still fit... no real loss).

resolved no-video following Windows splash screen by going back to the HDMI connection. Don't know if the DVI-I connection was asking for too much, or what. Oh well.
