ht>1000, is it safe??

is it safe to go over a 1000 ht while overclocking??
what happens is that im running now my x2 3800 at 280*9 and i can either set my ht to 280*3=840 or 280*4=1120 but im not sure if it safe going that far

has anybody overclocked beyond the 1000 barrier?

Personally I would keep it at x3. You aren't going to notice a difference between the two settings. If it's stable with the x4 setting, stick with it.
