Hey,

I currently own a Vantec AeroFlow 1 and I am getting temps of 48-52 degrees Celcius no overclock on an 2400+. This doesn't seem right, and I am wondering.

I want to OC, but I don't think my HSF is good enough. I am trying to decide between these two.

1. Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu
2. Thermalright SLK900U SocketA/478 Heatsink

Are there any others that I should consider?

Cheers,

well i have an SLK900A on my OC'd 2400+ Mobile running about 39C on load and 34C idle

Seems way high for the aeroflow. Did you apply thermal compound? (AS3, AS5, etc.)

Also, I'd go with the Zalman, if your mobo can fit it.

I have AS3 applied to the core. I put it on thin, and smooth. The base of the Aeroflow was also smooth.

Cheers,
