Well I alsmot bought the Zalman 7000 because I saw that it fits and at the last second found out that it will not work with the mobo BIOSTAR M7NCG 400 because it does not have those holes.

Now can some1 suggest a HSF that will work here. Im about to order the parts and this is the only tihng that is keeping me. I currently have a THERMALRIGHT ALX-800 laying around and was thinking of putting on an enermax 92mm fan on top. So what do you guys think.reccomend

isnt the alx I have basically the same thing? And which fan would you guys recommend so it fits in the Aria and is really quiet. I just ordered all of my parts now, just need to get a HSF ASAP for this. I cant rreally do anything without the HSF so please help me out. Thanks.

slk>alk by much.. use the alk's fan youll see a improvement if copper wasnt a big deal it wouldnt have been a big deal with popularity would it

yea thats true. But Ill try it out at first see how it works out. So will I need moutning holes for it or no? Also which can can I use on top of it, so it will fit in my Aria and still be quiet/cool

Can't go over ~65mm for the hsf height, otherwise you'll hit the PSU. That should help you narrow down the search.

hmm thanks Ricky. Im a little confused with the measurements though. Let me just ask you. Do you think the Thermalright ALX-800 heatsink, and the 92mm enermax fan work?
Im not really sure whether the ALX needs mounting holes or not. I think it doesnt, but here are the dimensions for the ALX:

L84 x W58 x H42 (mm) - Top, without fan
L32 x W58 - Base(mm)

And these are for the fan:
Enermax 92x25mm

please let me know if ill be okay? Thanks

oh man. It seems that most decent fans are 25mm tall? Oh man what should I do im startin to panic now. Is there any heatsink I can get that will let me use a 25mm fan in this case?

This Zalman 6000 series heatsink is 65mm tall. You shouldn't run into any height issues with 42mm + 25mm.

That setup will not work. The Thermalright ALX-800 is designed only for 80mm fans. That 92mm Enermax cannot physically fit in the fan steppings.

This is my thousandth post :D

oh wow. I didnt even see that. Damn now im really screwed. I guess I wont be using the ALX.

So can u please recommend a HS here that will work with the Enermax that I want to get. I looked at the 948U but it seems like its only for Athlon64 and not for the regular proc. Welp!

well thanks korruption, but that was really my question. My primary concern for this is to make sure that it will clear the cpu before I buy it. Otherwise I will have lke 5 HSFs... Can some1 tell me what htey are using with this case and mobo, or what they think will work?
