hey, i haven't been here in 3 years so i guess my account expired, but i'm back and i'm building a new system.

i'm planning on getting a dfi ut nf3 250 board, some ocz 3700eb ram, and i have a 3200+ clawhammer.

i'm not a fan of having a hairdryer in my case... so i'm looking for something reasonably quiet but allows room for oc'ing... or something that can be adjusted.

i've been looking at the hyper6 and the zalman, but the weight of the hyper6 and the loudness are offputting. so is the zalman adequate for my purposes? i should be getting the alcu version or the cu version? (i don't move my case around that much except when moving to school and back home- next year i shouldn't have to move my case around at all)

also, if i get a zalman, would it be overkill to buy a swiftech MCX159 for the chipset?

thanks in advance!

I have the all copper Zalman 7000a on my mobile xp. It is great, that is about all you can say about it. No noise, and it cools really well.
