I'm looking to replace the Zalman 9700 NT on my Q6600. The fan, even at idle, has a very annoying high pitched whine to it (though otherwise it seems to be cooling ok). I currently have it at 333x9 (3.0ghtz) with a vcore of 1.30 (bios)/1.248 (idle)/1.216 (load) with idle temps around 34 and load temps around 58 (24h prime95). I would like for the temps to be equal to or better than these.
Right now I'm considering the TRUE 120 with either a S-Flex F (I have a spare laying around) or one of these Arctic Cooling PWN fans: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/fans2.php?idx=111
I'm also considering the Scythe Ninja Copper http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/cpu/033/scnjcu1000_detail.html
I'm curious if anyone has any experience with both of these HS, and with the AC fan vs. the fan which comes with the ninja (the stats on the ninja fan seem some what unbelievable).
Other suggestions for good, quiet HS/Fan combos would also be appreciated.
