HR-05 or CL-C0034?

I need to install a new NB cooler on my DS3, because even on idle, if I slightly apply pressure of my fingers onto the current NB cooler - it burns! And I'm only running 334FSB with no voltage increases.

So I've narrowed it down to two coolers.

HR-05
CL-C0034

The CL-C0034 has a nice little fan already there (I'm not sure if I could attach and fit a fan on the HR-05 being how large it is and the amount of space I have available in the area.

Pretty much - which is the better option? HR-05 fanless or CL-C0034?
 
Im pretty sure thermalright supplies some zip ties to attach a fan to the HR-05. Its also there to help prevent the heatsink from shorting the video card as well. But im not sure how the two compare.
 
I've used these two cooler before. Even you used these cooler, NB still very hot(but better than original one).

Which one is better? I'll say, both two coolers are good.

CL-C0034 is very quiet and small(more space on MB).
And, if you choose HR-05, you better attach a 70mm fan and slow the speed of the fan(my opinion).

Also I need to tell you, HR-05 is easy to install than CL-C0034.
But CL-C0034 can attach very staple(as CPU Cooler).
HR-05-SLI also staple well(if you don't hit it hard).
Why? Becase the bracket and installation are different.

So the HR-05 will work on an Nforce4 sli mobo? Mine is the msi k8n neo4 plat sli. Id love to get this cooler but i want to make sure it will fit.

Also if i get this I think im gunna replace those plastic pins with screws like they use holding down a cpu heatsink

It is your MB right?

If you play SLI, I think HR-05 can NOT work, but HR-05-SLI would work(in one way).

BUT, if your VGA cooler is AC Silencer, I think both HR-05 HR-05-SLI would NOT work.

Same as 8800 series.
 
Yes that is my mobo and i only do single cards (tried sli and wont go back) I have the 1950xtx ati card.
