HR-03 fan recommendations

Just got an x1950xt...leaf blower is load as hell so looking into getting a hr-03 from thermalright. just wondering what fan you guys suggest using on it. so far i got my eyes set on a silverstone 92mm fan.

Im sort of confused. One link you posted wa for a vga cooler, the other was for a fan. if you replacing the vga cooler I highly recommend this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186002

I have it on my 1950pro and it idles around 39c and max load is 48c. Before idle was around 50 and max load was 65ish.

Also its dead quiet, I can hear my cpu fan over this thing even when turned on high.
 
The one Xacid is showing is a heatsink only replacement for the stock cooler. Even without a fan, it ran cooler than the stock x1900xtx cooler. Nexus fans are pretty good on the silence front, but like most quiet fans, they blow very little air. With the HR03, you probably don't need much, though, as it helps a ton passively. Can the HR03 accept a 120mm or is 92mm the largest?

you can stretch the fan clips for accept 120mm's

to the OP, if you are willing to go with a 120mm fan, id recommend a yate loon or if you want to stick with a 92mm, the nexus is a good choice

I agree with the Yate-Loons for the 120s. I have two of them in my custom case (one as an intake blowing onto the x1950xt intake and one as a top exhaust). They blow good air and are pretty silent.
 
hrm...i'll look into the 120s and ponder the nexus fans.

how would you suggestion mounting the 120mm fan? beside bending the clips as suggested in a previous post. I was thinking zip ties but not 100% sure on that. just dont want to order a 120mm fan and not beable to mount it heh.
