rats i really like that little grill instead of the little fan :( but wow i love how the hoses are sitting.
 
If you haven't made up your mind yet here is another vote for painting the vents on the one side panel. Black doesn't really seem to fit in with the look of the mod.
 
More chop & shine!

Every one of these flames have to be hand chopped and hand buffed! it was @ about this stage i was thinking that maybe i should have stuck with a 2pak paint job!

The Vent panel was done using a block! this will sand qiker and flatter.

With the chop and shine session now over! i can start hanging these panels on the case :)

First panel to go on will of course be the base! SS hex heads replace the orig crap plastick bolts.

With the base one next is to wire and bolt in the front fan assembly

Now that the rest of the hardware is installed the front panel can be heated shaped cut and fitted.

A simple solution for the CDROM is the same as used on HP1

Something i wanted to do to the last HP's but couldn't due to the external RADS was install the "backpanel"

This is such a cool looking addition to the over all complete look of the case.

Just for the sake of being "quirky" i glued back on the original sticker :)

For the SIDE flame window i brought 2 peices of plex! Dark and light tint.

for now i will go with the lighter of the 2 windows

Still got a few things to do! the front fan does not have active lighting , this will be swapped over thru the week. I'd also like to possible @ some stage add some of the blue plex fames to the outside ofthe case.

this is one of the cleanest, and nicest looking mod i've ever seen!

one question:
the usb cable that goes back into the case, is that for a fan controller? possibly a sunbeam theta?
-if so where did u hide that thing?

or is that usb for the display ?
 
I am usually just a prowler here, but that is astounding. love the finish, love the hoses, love the mobo plate, love the stealth drive covers. I even like the vents. I was skeptical of those at first, but you pulled it off. great case.

What a great (mostly) finished product. The flames make this baby really original and you pulled off the theme really well. Good job defyant now you just have to auction that baby off and use the proceeds to cure cancer or something :D
 
You always make the most badass Mods dude, I absolutely loved watchingyou build this machine up :D.
 
Amazing work, can't believe how fast you did it! About 2 weeks from start to finish, that's awesome!

Man i agree with one of the previous posters... PUT THIS BABY ON EBAY!! This is by far the cleanest and best looking case mod ive ever seen. Man you need to go quit ur day job and start a case company! seriously!

nice...I have to admit even though I originally wanted you to paint the vents...I like them black :D

 
The smoked panel on the front with the text display showing through it is effin sweet! Whole thing came out great, it's all very unified.
