Just picked up an HP 1230 CRT. Hooked it up and as it's booting, the lettering in the bios screen is fuscia (bright pink) instead of white. Then into Windows and everything that should be white is this awful fuscia color. Tried adjusting color on the monitor, but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
Edit: Nevermind.....
I decided to try hooking it up to the second VGA port on the monitor and now it's fine. I note that the 2 wires are visible on the screen. I remember from my Sony Trinitron that you could see the wire. For anyone who has this monitor, are the 2 wires fairly visible?
