After playing around for quite some time with my Touchpad I have to admit it is pretty amazing. There are some initial issues with the Touchpad for those who are not aware. HP decided to release it with background logging that basically bogs the system down terribly. Imagine 1000 services/background tasks running on a PC.
This issue alone is a huge problem but not all that can be fixed. Here are some resources everyone with a Touchpad should read.
There are guides all over the place and hundreds of threads on the internet but I couldn't find one that was consolidated.
**To restart the touchpad hold the back button and the other button near the volume for 15 seconds. **
Step # 1: Install WebOS Quick Install on Windows/OSX
Step # 2: Using the WebOS Quick Install Method install Preware.
Once you use WebOS Quick Install to install Preware on your Touchpad you should be done with the PC and you can disconnect your Touchpad.
Step # 3: Install the Uberkernal (in the kernal section) & Guvnah from the Preware App. (Uberkernal allows for a 1.5Ghz overclock, there is another one called F15C which goes up to 1.7Ghz + which I'll mention in a moment). After the changes have been made let the Touchpad reboot.
Step # 4: Disable Logging this is very simple to do, just follow this guide. Once completed reboot.
Alternative Method for Step #4:
The alternative method is for folks who do not have a skype account.
In the patch section of preware, most of these are performance increases. I also installed Adblocker, Remove Tap Ripple, and Faster Card Animations HYPER Version.
Your Touchpad should be a hell of a lot faster, but with the changes in Step 3 you can now overclock.
To do this, go into Guvnah>profile>advanced settings>cpu frequency>max frequency.
You can also adjust the minimum freq but I'd advise against that since battery life would suffer. I have mine set to 648 Mhz and have played around with it a lot, not much difference in speed between any of them in my opinion. The big thing is the Max Frequency.
You can also overclock to 1.7Ghz or greater using the F15C kernal. This is a bit more advanced but takes 10 minutes tops.
Read this exactly. The MAJOR thing everyone fucks up on is adding the feeds. When you add these simply open preware go to the top left menu then manage feeds, at the bottom there is a section that says New Feeds. That is where this information goes, I'd advise you to goto that link with the touchpad and simple move back and forth copy and pasting.
Once you have added them all, you absolutely have to reboot. Not just a Luna restart because preware.is.awesome is just a place holder and will not work until you reboot.
After you reboot if you installed the previous Uberkernel your going to have to go back into preware and install the stock Palm kernel. Once done you can install F15C and reboot. F15C will have a safemode type bootup so fear not. Once you are at the main home screen you can now go into Guvnah and overclock to your delight.
If I am missing anything or if there are other tips please comment and I will add them to the post. This touchpad for 100 or 150 is an incredible deal especially now that it's faster than stock.
I did this off the top of my head so if anyone still has a stock touchpad and would like to go through this with a fine tooth comb please comment on the steps/guide. I'd appreciate it.

This program is intended for use with WebOS applications that are in-testing, which under section 4.2 of the Palm SDK License Agreement allows for such unapproved applications to be installed on Palm devices. Applications installed with WebOS Quick Install have not be tested by Palm and are installed at your own risk.

Just recieved mine in the mail, woo!
1) Open your system launcher (click on the arrow pointing up, located right next to the photo album launcher)
2) Go to the "Settings" tab.
3) Open "Device Info", and click on the upper left hand of your screen to open the drop down menu.
4) Select "Diagnostics..." and click on the upper left hand corner again to open the drop down menu.
5) Select "Change Logging Levels...", then select "Set Logging To Minimal"
6) Save changes.
