HP Ryzen Laptop issues

So, I found a broken HP laptop sporting Ryzen where I work. It's headed to the recycle bin. What I heard is that AMD is crap and the laptop is borked.

I have this... compulsion... to fix things =D

So I would like to ask if anyone knows of any common issues with those in case I convince them to let me retrieve the laptop from the bin of shame and see what I can do about it.

I didn't score a thing. It's still there and it'll stay there, all I want is to understand what's going on with it so we can help others that have one of those instead of recycling them. If they are really terrible, so be it, but I am curious to hear what are the common issues with Ryzen laptops in general. This is the first one I've even seen and it's allegedly broken.

I'll report back with specifics as soon as I have them.

HP issue is drivers, you need to force install amd drivers instead of the ancient ones on HP's website and it should work a lot better.
