I just got HP P800 and installed latest firmware my 3tb hard drives are seen as 2.2TB most of my hard drives are 2tb anyway. Based on my research LSI chip supports hard drivers larger than 2tb so I guess firmware issue. I wonder if there is anyone who hacks firmware or has recommendation for raid card that will work with msa60 boxes is not very expensive.
 
Get the P812, although you may have to have an HP server for this to work. I think the P812 may draw more power than spec PCIe, do some research before taking my word for it. Regardless, P812 will run you about $300 on ebay, but it's a fantastic raid card for MSA boxes.
 
That will work just fine. I have my 812 in a DL380 G6 as well.
