Hi guys,

Do you think it would be better to have single 30" inch monitor or three 23" 3d monitor´s. I know that I could get 2560x1600 resolution with 30" monitor but do you think three 3d monitors would be better as I mainly would use the monitor/monitors for gaming. I have a single 21.5 inch Lg at the moment.

Is the higher resolution and better panel worth the grand price on the 30" when I wouldn´t need it for photo editing? I have money for only one 30" monitor or perhaps three 3d monitors + 3d glasses, so not possible to get 3x 30" monitors at the moment. :)

So what do you guys recommend?

Thanks

I have the LP3065 and 3 2007FP in NV surround. To me the bezel is an issue but to some it's not so it might be the same for you. For me 3 panels is best suited for games like racing and say strategy games. Since I play FPS mostly I tend to game most of the time on my 30" panel.

How is the HP LP3065 for games? Is it better than the Dell 3007? What about the new HP zr30w?

I don't have a 3007WP so I don't know how it is but I heard it's similar to the HP. The LP3065 is really good. I don't see a lag, banding, blurring and the color is also very good. I also don't notice any color shift through out the panel.

Would you recommend the Hp Lp 3065 over 3d vision surround? Is the 3d gaming technology yet good enough or should I wait for it to evolve? Would I notice a big difference in detail on games with 2560x1600 resolution compared to 1920x1080 which I currently have?

I was also about to buy the Asus 27" 3d monitor but I think it has sadly been delayed to the end of this year.

Sorry to drudge up an old post but I cant seem to get my LP3065 and Dell 2007's to setup in Surround :(

i'm running a 970 SLI setup and it says that all monitors must have a timing in common. All monitors have a 1600 res and a 60 hz rate so not sure whats not working...

Any ideas?

I don't think P-L-P is supported for a surround gaming setup, if that's what you mean by "a 1600 res" - because the nvidia panel is seeing two screens that have a 1200 vertical resolution and one with a 1600. Doesn't matter if you've got the 2007s rotated, it still sees a 1600x1200 display.

You could test by setting all of the monitors to 1280x800, as I think that's the only common resolution they all have (assuming you can set that on a 2007FP). But that might not work either.

interesting, i thought they finally figured out there PLP options. Thanks deruberhanyok.

Don;t you have it setup that way pedsaktix?
