Hi guys,
I was hoping that someone could provide some insight on a problem that I'm having with my monitor. It is out of warranty. It was left off for 3 months for the summer and when I came back, it initially turned on normally. However, after 10-30 seconds, it would go black unless turned off and on again. The other monitor connected to the computer does not have this issue. This occurs on both inputs on the monitor.

Any ideas on what the problem is and what I can do about it?

I should add that this was my first IPS monitor and if it is dead, would appreciate advice on replacements.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I can't help with your issue, but I'd like to point out that the LP2465 is S-PVA not IPS.

I had forgotten that it was an S-PVA, I was just excited to get away from a TN when I bought it.

I did do the factory reset and changed settings, neither had any effect.

Thanks so far.

Try shine a flashlight on the monitor after it goes black. If you can see a bit of image then it means the problem is the backlight.

It is the backlight. Is this repairable?

It's possible if you can source a backlight. The LP 2465 should use Samsung LTM240M2 panel. I've even seen people replace dead backlights with LED strips, although it didn't look great..
