hp laptop cooling

ok.. i have an hp ze5185 pavilion.

it has a dead fan.. and its a wierd paddle fan..
and there is a tiny 1 inch fan that is a screamer, it is going to die, and it sounds like crap..

this thing has a p4 in it.. so the heatsink is huge.. and it gets hot.. i got it for free because it would get insanely slow after using it for a while.. my theory, it was getting too hot and throttling down..

i cleaned out the dust though..

so can i actually get that same fan, or do i hvae to ghetto rig something?

also.. there is a thin layer of something that is like aluminum on the heatsink.. i am thinking of taking it off and using the copper below.. its just seems like the obvious choice.. i put some as5 on there.. i have no idea if it helps or not.. cause i couldn't install xp without it freezing before i cleaned out the heatfins and did the as5..

what other kind of fan could i rig up to this thing?
