I'm thinking real hard about getting the HP L2335 for drafting. I realize it will be quite a jump from my 19" crt but why not? What video card to you guys recommend for such a high resolution, 1920 x 1200. Also, most of my drafting is 2d. Another thing and maybe this is pretty stupid but how about the font size on one of these monitors. Is it going to be too small? Should I go with the Dell Ultrasharp 2005fpw? Any info would be greatly appreciated. :D

Most modern video cards will not have too much of a problem with 1920x1200 in 2d, as for the the L2335, you might want to also look at the Dell 2405fpw. Its cheaper and has a larger screen.

If you are wanting to game at that high of a resoultion the 6800GT/Ultra or the X800 XL/XT are really your only options.
 
Any video card with a DVI output and 128MB will power 1920x1200 on the desktop. But I reccomend at least a mid-range card in the $150-$200 area. I'm also in the market for that same LCD. Personally I prefer it over the Dell. I havn't seen either in person except for the APple 23" which uses the same panel. But I prefer the tighter pixel pitch of the 23" HP over the 24" dell. I'm a nazi for sharpness.
