HP KVM IP

I know the odds are no one will be able to answer this question but I know there are some particularly talented people in here so I thought I would give it a shot.

My question is about an HP KVM IP

Who here knows how to assign an IP to the "3D LAN" (used for remote access of the KVM) on the back of the unit?

I've already had the port this unit is connected to activated and I have the IP I need to assign to this it but I can't seem to find any documentation on how to actually do that. The OSD for the KVM doesn't have any options to assign an IP for that port. The only thing left is to connect directly to this thing through the serial port and see what I can do there. If that is the case, well... I've never done that before and haven't the slightest idea of how to go about doing it.

Yup, I've been all over their site looking for something that could help me figure this out.

I'm digging through their setup docs that come on a cd with the KVM, I'm making a little bit of progress towards finding a solution.
