Hello and welcome

I'm currently modding my new Microserver to allow for 8 3.5inch hard drives, a new motherboard/CPU, and RAID card. I currently have an HP N40L with 8 drives in it and I'm looking to do the same with the new box.

Objective:
Create a File Server that doubles as a HTPC for streaming of movies.

Build List:
160Watt Pico PSU
i5-4570s
ASUS H87I-PLUS
8 DDR3 RAM 1600 (NON-ECC)
High point RAID card 8 port SAS
4x4TB (reuse 4x3TB)
128 Samsung SSD

Extra plans:
Paint (plasti dip)

Design (old HP n40L)

Talk about density. That thing's gonna be dark matter. haha
Will the 160W PSU run that many HDDs and the system?

Power won't be a problem, but I'm not sure if there will be enough connectors for 8 HDD's. The max I have seen done is 6.

Sorry it's been completed for some time now. Was a pretty easy build, honestly. I'll update with some pictures later today!
