HP Envy 14 resolution

[rjv]

I have read many reviews around the web that claim the max resolution of the HP Envy 14 is 1600x900. However, in the specs found on HP's website, it lists the max resolution as 1366x768. Can anyone confirm which is correct? Thank you.

HP discontinued the 1600x900 display on it unfortunately, so the only way you'll find one with that screen is to look for a second hand one.

I believe the Envy 14 was available with the Radiance Infinity screen that touted the 1600x900 resolution, but apparently they are no longer offering it on that model.

edit: and yet another example of opening a bunch of tabs, only to post later after someone came up with the answer
