Why not just send it back to HP and get your money back? Eitherway, bump for you.

He posted earlier about the credit that he won at a tourny i think, so I trust this is legit, awsome piece of case ;)

Are you sure it has an 8600? I thought they only had 8800 as the lowest option last time i checked..

but hella nice PC..

No it isn't, thats a different guy. I'm not so sure about the legit factor here. No ID in the pictures, no references on a super expensive computer.

lol.. if somebody was gonna spend 2 grand i'm pretty sure they would just build a custom box

And yet Alienware, Falcon NW and all these other boutique companies are still in business.

There's clearly money in it - otherwise why would HP and Dell have their lines of luxury PC's too.

Personally I'd build a computer - even if money wasn't a factor, because its something I enjoy doing. I can easily see how someone would want a deluxe rig without the hassle factor, not too mention tech support and a comprehensive warranty.

Enough thread crapping - bump!

We won these computers in a GameSpot ETQW tournament. We won a total of 6 of them.

Piss on Gamespot for firing the reviewer over his opinion just because they had ads from the game he reviewed.

(...easy now.. let's stay OT and don't let opinions fly...)

Maybe it's the 2 MEGAbytes of memory it has that's scaring everyone away? ;)
