So like Frankensteine, it came about from many parts.

I piad $28.65 after shipping for the PSU and $40 a stick of 512MB DDR 3200. Its using built-in sound, didn't want conficts with the VIA chipset and NIC. I had an old Ti-4200 8X AGP, 120GB HDD, DVD-Burner, CD-RW, floppy and a leftover AthlonXP 2700. Stuck it on one of my old 17in FST Sony, Gateway Ergo Multimeadia KB and Blue optical mouse. Still running Win2K. First I noticed the mouse will shut down and I have to un-plug it and plug it in again. Is this normal.

This computer will serve my Daughter in her room. Yanked the HDD out of the old Willy P4 and the danged thing updated all of the drivers, rebooted 3 times and was ready to use after installing the Realtec Sound drivers. Updated mouse drivers to MS-IT 5.4.

The 2700 is running at 2100+ because the motherboard only supports 266MHz FSB and of course the 2700+ needs 333MHz FSB. Was thinking of looking for a 2400+ or 2600+ but though why? These are now hard to come buy and very expensive for their value. Or I look for a good mATX boaard to replace this one.
