Backstory--
One of the departments in my division is having troubles with their printer. They have an HP Laserjet 4100TN printer. It is connected through the Intranet and has an IP address. We use HP's printer install wizard and connect to it via the Hardware addy.
Problem-
In the last week and a half, they have had users not be able to print, and then 10 minutes - 2hrs later it may come back online for them. Then it will effect someone else.
Assumptions-
I assumed that some of the computers (installed by a previous employee) may have found the printer via IP address instead of MAC. If that was the case, then the computer wouldnt remedy itself would it?
Any help would be appreciated..
