How's this setup for $270

[ChingChang]

Logitech z-5500 speakers - $205
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Sound Card - $66 after MIR

I'd be upgrading from a sound blaster Live! card, with Logitech x-530 2.1 speaker setup.

I'm probably going to order this sometime today...

It should be great. just remember to use the analog connections

[Xeero]

Ok I just ordered it. Hope it doesn't suck.

I'll look into that analog thing when I get it.

if ur looking for mega boom and loudness then u wont be dissappointed. if you haven't heard better speakers, then you will be completely satisfied w/ the musical quality of the z5500. lets just hope u haven't heard better or else u might regret spending that $200+
