Hows this for 1st oc?

I overclocked my A64 3000 venice the best I could with what I had.

Asus A8N-E
Corsair CMX 512-3200C2

I've bumped the cpu voltage to 1.485, running ram under 3x divider. 250mhz stable. So I'm running at 2250mhz from 1800. I'm wondering if there is anything else I can do? the ram is running at 2.5 cas latency. That ram is rly picky about cas latency and I can't run it at 2 stable. Going up to 160 is stable for a bit but causes crashes after a while.

run a lower divider... you should be able to hit 2.4-2.6 with that stepping.. not bad, but not great...

my old 3000+ venice did 2.7ghz on water so yea you should be hitting higher.

I redid everything following the a64 oc'ing guide. Now I'm at 284HTT, 2557mhz, cpu limited.
