If you look at the CPU-Z screenshot, the problem is clearly that you have a socket 940 processor on a socket 939 board.

its not your mobo, its smart guardian reporting your voltage wrong, it always does that
if ur using nf4, try using Nvidia Ntune for voltage reports

 Is this some sick joke?!?!?!??!! :p

Hmm yes you need help. You need to send me ur chip so I can personaly inspect it. ;)

Did you hit ur head?

If it wasn't you I'd try to give advice!!! LOL Feels weird!!!

thank you kind sir. actually, smart guardian displays what the bios does.. quite surprisingly. when it's at idle, the vcore drops around .02-.03v.. which is kinda cool.
also.. i refuse to touch ntune. evil program if you ask me ;)

i think i've made some decent progress?

i have a suspiscion it's pretty stable ;)
a weird thing though.. 2.9ghz with 1.4v. prime stable, but sPI 32m fails, no matter what divider or vdimm. i think the part of the memory controller that runs at cpu speed was holding me back, but i'm not certain

nealio, check my birthdate. i'm smarter than that

Dude!!! You scared me! I thought that if YOU couldn't get a 146 to OC, nobody could!

LOL So... If you're smacking us all around with that OC... What's the stepping?

Seems like the 144 you had is doing better? If I recall you didn't use a divider either...
I'm glad you have it running better now!!!

You still using the same setup as the 144???

no, the 144 could never touch this. max stable was like 2.8ghz with 1.6v. ;)
still the exact same rig:
dfi nf4 ultra-d
2x512mb ocz gold pc3500 gx (utt-bh)
gf4mx pci card
powerstream 420w
water cooled ;)

Hey! What happened to Mr. Cucial??? :D

A lot of ppl seem to be H2O cooling. Anyone have air #'s???

I'm sure you still playing with it and don't have a lot of time but have any idea where we can get air and/stock #'s.

I have a Zalman 7700 so I'm somewhat ok with a little V raising.

i killed one of my sticks of ballistix, so i'm using something else for dual channel ;)

also.. water is needed with this CABNE. it's even hotter than my 144 was
i gained about 50-75mhz from air to water with the 144, expect something similar for this too

Yes, fail to mention those sticks were free. Ass. :p

Hm, how's it scaling compared to the 144? Haven't had a chance to speak to you on AIM for a while, heh.

edit: Apparently it's kicking your 144's ass, and seems on par with my 144. Interesting. Get the max suicide out ASAP, man!
