So... I haven't posted in here in a while. Thought I would stop in and say hello.

I do recall seeing something about getting a new heavy hitter recently. Always nice to hear.
Very unfortunately, I don't fold at all anymore really. I've got one stray borg back home, a lowly 1500+ that pushes a WU every few days for the [H], and thats it. None of my rigs at home fold anymore. Glad to hear someone is making up for it for me though![]()

There is one relatively new heavy hitter, WRat, who is currently outproducing FLECOM. Are you referring to him? Anyway, you can always come back and fold for us full time whenever it's convenient or possible for you. I did after many years.I do recall seeing something about getting a new heavy hitter recently. We have lots of [H]eavy [H]itters!
[H]ell --- we are all [H]ard around [H]ere!
[H]oly crap!
When I start to fold again, I hope where my points fall will not be important.
Indeed, to say the least.[H]oly crap! Yeah, it was him I was thinking, but I didn't know he was outproducing FLECOM. Impressive.
No, not at all. That's entirely your choice. The important matter is what the points represent and accomplish in the end, not where they fall or from whom they originate. As far as folding again goes, I don't see it happening for a while. It's not because I don't want to or don't care anymore or anything like that... it's just not feasible for me to be anywhere near involved as I once was. When I start to fold again, I hope where my points fall will not be important.
No, but we have had a lot of visitations from MPC. Actually, they have a couple of threads about us on their forum. There has been some light rivalry since the beginning of the year. They were outproducing us for a while until we acquired new recruits. A lot has happened here recently and it's a good thingGlad to hear it. Looks like you guys are doing damn well. I assume the roo's have yet to come knocking again?

No, it won't happen. As great a team as they are, it's statistically impossible.I do recall seeing something about that in Genmay. Nothing like a new competitor to keep everyone borging. Just don't let them catch up![]()

It's not statistically impossible, we have Default to overtake !

To match the production, we need 6 millions ppd extra and to overtake them, we need at least double that. Hard to do but not impossible with some willpower
Another way is to bribe Stanford to modify the client so if a user doesn't configure anything, it default to team 33![]()

Well, the primary difference between 'default' and [H] can best be summarized by the differences between individuals and the borg as philosophical concepts in Star Trek. Being unified into a team, we can direct our resources towards common objectives, aside from finding cures to diseases. We have a concerted will and purpose. That's where our strength lies if not in sheer numbers.Wow. That would take some serious recruiting (and willpower)!
I don't like being second to "default."
Dictionary.com definition of default:
Computers. a value that a program or operating system assumes, or a course of action that a program or operating system will take, when the user or programmer specifies no overriding value or action.
Default has no overriding value or action. The [H]orde values cures and folds.

So, if anyone is truly serious about defeating 'default' once and for all, start a new thread and outline a proposal for a strategic offensive. As Cpt. Janeway said, "No indecisions, no doubts, but the security and strength of a unified will."
