How would you recommend

Does that unit have multichannel analog inputs?
If not you are not gonna get get mutichannel audio from the Live card in games and such you might want to look at one of the DDL cards (Montego or HDA)
 
I'm more of a movies/music guy.

Any other suggestions for my type?
 
In that case all you need is an adapter and coax cable to connect the Live to the "receiver"
