Im currently using a x1650pro sapphire card (very good card for the money) how ever things tend to get hairy when playing certain games of course. I bought this card cause 1st off it was only 75 dollars @ newegg after rebate, and I dont game much anymore. Im not looking for "KILLER" performance, but am looking to stabilize my Ffames per second in a few games. Since this X1650PRO series of cards DO NOT have the X-Fire ports on the cards them selfs, Im assuming that this will be similiar to the SLi type of interface with Nvidia cards that dont use the SLI bridge. It is done thru the motherboard itself, and isn't really an optimal choice,. as performance wont be as fast as using the SLi / X-Fire bridges. Am I right? If I was to get another X1650pro card (same company) and run these in X-Fire, would there be a noticable difference? Thank you
 
I would just ditch the card you have right now and get a X1950Pro or X1800XT 512. Both can be had for under $150.

You will get a noticeable difference with X1650 Crossfire. Performance may be slightly better than the X1950Pro/X1800XT in fact.
