I have some older games that I would like to play but not all games support 1680x1050 resolution on my ViewSonic's 22" widescreen. I was hoping for STEAM to support some of the 3rd party games on higher resolutions like Stubbs the Zombie but they dont.
How can I window a pc game?
How can I also window a 3rd party game from Steam?

Thanks alot for you help!

try widescreengamingforums.com

many games have either a config file, or can be controlled via command line additions to the run command.

I played a few games in windowmode, all i had to do for it was press shift + enter

For most games, all you have to do is add -w to the end of the shortcut (Right click on the shortcut and select properties and then add it in the 'target" box). Using Diablo II as an example, the shortcut to run it windowed would look like this:
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w
