Do i just run the mixture in or do i soak the mixture inside for awhile?Bio-Hazard said:White vinger mixed with distilled water works real well getting the crap out of your system. Remember to drain and flush with plenty of clean distilled water as white vinger is acidic.............. . Then refill with your normal mixture.................

Mysogonist said:I thought that was hydrochloric acid! This may sound really lame but when I did Distilled water and zerex....i got bio buildup..when I did distilled water and water wetter...it corroded my resevoir..when I use Koolance coolant..I have no problems 12 months at a time. Do what you go to do to get it clean...then go with a pre mix and save urself a few headaches!
eo54 said:How do u actually load water into the circuit @ the start? Load them thru the Reservoir? If yes, how do u actually know the percentage of distilled water n coolant?
I sort of need some pointer to load the water into my new setup.
Which is
Swiftech Storm
GFX - still not yet decided.
Silverprop SS4 Heatercore
Aquatube - mod 1/2"
How do u hook up the fill port? If i were to hook it up a Aquatube, how can i take it out later?tcc said:What I plan on doing when I start to install my WC parts is to put everything into my rig and hook up the pump to an external power supply (not the comp. psu). Fill the res with coolant via a fill port and then run a leak test for a day or two.
As for the ratio of water:collant, mix it in a jug or bucket or anything you can find that will hold a decent amount of liquid or you can try and guesstimate the ratio while pouring the two liquids into your res.
My choice was actually D5 or 655 as both of them r of the same right? Both i was thinking of Eheim 1048 n 1250, last time a lot using them but since DC pump came out nobody cares abt EheimBio-Hazard said:"Any pump u guys recommend? Eheim 1048, 1250, DD5 or swiftech 655?"
I'd go with the D5 now that I've tried one, they are alot quieter that the older versions of the Laing pump (D4, Swiftech 650, Danger Den D4 and PolarFlo D4) I've got all 3 versions and the D% is one of the best so far.
