Just picked up some 24V fans from an garage sale, but since they're 24v, they don't work, anybody know how to use them with an usual PSU (mine is an Antec TruePower 380W).

I heard from somewhere that u can use a line going to your mobo to make 24v but Im not sure. Im surprised they dont start up at 12v they might need a little push. but yeah sorry if im no help. Atleast its a bump =)

Just attach them across +12V and -12V for normal usage.

Are they powerful 24V models or wimpy ones? I always used mine like this, adding a double-pole-double-throw switch and you can have quiet cooling with error recovery, or quadruple the cooling power.

Thanks for Nam-ng, I've got the same advices from others 4rum too. Thank you very much.
Btw, those are good ones, and for a price of 1$ each it's not bad deal at all (made of steel, from japan)
