how to update bios without a compatible processor ?

here's the deal :

i'm buying gigabyte p35-ds3l mobo .

and x3350 or q9450 processor .

wat bios would this board come with ? and how do i update the board to latest bios without a compatible processor ?

I have no other socket 775 processor.
 
You can't unless the BIOS chip is user-changeable (IIRC, its not). If you buy it from clubit.com, they guarantee rev2.0, which should ship with F7. F7 should be good enough to detect the CPU you plan on using.

thats nice to hear , and price is lesser than newegg too . any chance it will have a more recent bios ?
 
but that table shows quads supported by f8b bios . how ill f7 bios support them ?
 
I'm guessing it will support it enough to update the BIOS. Again, thats just a guess.
