Arrrggh, does anyone have any incite into this? Most my clients have gotten new machines with that crappy ass SP2 installed on them. The most annoying feature besides its breaking alot of stuff is these stupid little bubble messages that keep popping up in the taskbark. Especially when I turn off Auto update and firewall, the damn things just won't go away and I don't wanna have to have my clients to keep clicking on them to turn them off.

Anyone know of an option in XP so Window's shuts up?

You can go to control panel/security center and tell it not to monitor those items, or disable the security center service all together.

Or, even easier:

Go here

and uncheck these

i have turned off the fw monitoring many times, but on every reboot it seems to go back to default setting.

right click my computer
select manage
left pane side select services and applications
click the plus
select services
right pane side alphabetical order look for security center
double click it
center field selection "startup type" click and select disabled
click ok
