You could also get the WinXP version of Powertoys. You can find it on Microsoft's site. They will not support it but I have never had any trouble with it.
Besides having an option to disable autorun (which is one of the first things I do) it has a lot of other tweaks and stuff for Windows that you normally can't access outside of directly messing with the registry.
