How to transfer outlook express emails/folders to vista x64

my dad just upgraded his computer, and we both are puzzled as to if he can transfer his outlook express emails and folders to the new vista x64 (original os was xp 32bit).

his old computer it torn apart right now, but the hard drive is in this one as an extra.

any help would be apreiciated (this is both of our first time with vista)

Windows Mail replaces Outlook Express in Vista. This looks to have some useful information:

Basically, you need to find the Outlook Express file store (you can find that from OE, but that's not going to be possible if the system doesn't boot XP any more), and then use File > Import > Messages.. in Windows Mail.
